Choosing a name for what your new grandchild will call you is serious business. As you probably guessed, I picked “Granny”. My husband goes by “Gan” because that is what he called one of his grandfathers many years ago. It turns out his older sister named all four grandparents when she was little. Hence, the name Gan stuck in the family. Here’s a funny YouTube video for grandmothers to help decide what they want to be called when the grand baby arrives. Enjoy!
